Wartburg Area xe2x80x93 KwaZulu Natal: Our client seeks to appoint a Senior Broiler Breeders & Livestock Manager.The purpose of this position is to manage all operational activities of the broiler breeders and livestock on the farm.Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree specialising in poultry & poultry production
- Minimum of 8 previous yearsxe2x80x99 experience in farm management
- Experience working with Broiler breeder chickens essential
- Experience working in agriculture (livestock - cattle)
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Great stockmanship
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to speak Zulu advantageous
- Ability to work with and lead a team
- Being maintenance orientated essential
- Valid driverxe2x80x99s license
- In charge of supervising house clean outs, placements, vaccinations etc in the poultry
- Responsible for the dipping, branding etc in cattle
- Any other reasonable instruction that maybe requested by management from time to time
