Combined JD: Security Engineers - 1-Year Contract
Location: On-site with client (Cape Town or Johannesburg)
Contract Length: 12 months
Base Salary Range: R500,000 - R850,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking experienced Security Engineers to join a large-scale deployment, implementation, and support initiative. All roles are 1-year fixed-term contracts, based on-site with a key enterprise client. Candidates must be available to work on-site in either Cape Town or Johannesburg.

Security Engineers - Azure Certified
SailPoint Identity Engineers
Forescout NAC Engineers (NAC or NAX experience required)
Core Responsibilities (Applies Across Roles)
Design, deploy, and support security solutions aligned with client infrastructure
Execute hands-on implementation and post-deployment support
Conduct troubleshooting, patching, and upgrade activities
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
Produce documentation for configurations, handover, and best practices
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in a relevant security engineering role
Relevant certifications for each technology stack (see below)
Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level implementation and support
Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting capabilities
Familiarity with change management and documentation standards
Specific Role Requirements
AWS Security Engineers
Certification: AWS Security Specialty (preferred) or AWS Solutions Architect
Strong experience deploying and maintaining AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, WAF, etc.)
Azure Security Engineers
Certification: AZ-500 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate)
Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Conditional Access, and related services
SailPoint Engineers
Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow or IdentityIQ
Background in identity governance, access certifications, and role-based access control
Forescout NAC Engineers
Must have experience with Forescout NAC (CounterACT) or Forescout NAX
In-depth understanding of network visibility, device profiling, and policy enforcement
