Job Purpose
To provide administrative support within legislation and regulations to the sales team in order to achieve sales targets and make Nedbank a great place to bank
Job Responsibilities
Manage and build relationships with clients by providing feedback to complaints and enquiries.
Provide quality service to clients by following Nedbank values such as honesty; integrity; accountability; respect and pushing beyond boundaries when dealing with clients .
Conduct an age analysis for all policies to check for unpaid premiums; premiums due or refunds in order to avoid financial losses.
Request all commission statements and send them to the commissions department.
Ensure operational effectiveness to minimise losses by following all business processes and procedures.
Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values and ensuring delivered systems; process; services; products and solutions standards are adhered to.
Compile and generate sales statistics and reports within required timelines.
Support the sales team to achieve targets by providing the required administrative support.
Manage internal processes and the reduction of business risk by complying with the risk standards in place.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.
Minimum Experience Level
2 - 5 years banking and/or short term insurance experience, with proven administration experience
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
Higher Certificate: Insurance , Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
