Core Criteria:

  • Matric (required), with tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Travel & Tourism qualification or relevant industry experience beneficial
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • CRM system experience; Zoho knowledge advantageous
  • Understanding of data, reporting, and analytics
  • Familiarity with availability, web, or reporting systems
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
  • Exposure to the travel or tour operations sector preferred
Core Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and timeously manage and delegate all web and sales enquiries in line with documented processes, including shared weekend cover
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the CRM database at all times
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales data, YTD reporting, budget tracking, and performance reports
  • Capture, manage, and update incentives, brochure inclusions, barters, and joint marketing contributions
  • Communicate agreed reporting, updates, and procedures clearly to the Sales Team within set deadlines
  • Support sales contract administration and maintain sales and web delegation processes
  • Collate feedback requested by Sales Management from the sales force
  • Manage Travel Planner leave schedules and daily in/out updates
  • Document, maintain, and update all agreed sales processes and methodologies
  • Drive and coordinate allocated projects, including trade shows and sales trips, in collaboration with Channel Marketing
  • Track project progress against deadlines and ensure completion
  • Provide efficient day-to-day support to sales representatives, executives, and group sales managers
  • Action incoming sales-related communication accurately and promptly
