Sales Representative (ICT) - Cape Town - Market Related Salary

Manage sales of IT & Security Infrastructure services of the company and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through positive planning. Identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales earnings.

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Degree or Diploma) in Sales and/or Marketing.
  • Good industry knowledge (AV and ICT Sector) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in multiple facets of sales.
  • Experience within IT Infrastructure & Security Infrastructure (Managed Services) -Power, Wireless, LAN, AV, Security, Date Centers, Managed Services or Off-Site Monitoring.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Computer literate - must be proficient in MS Office, Umbrella, Asana, and Cloud Quote. (Training will be provided on Umbrella, Asana, and Cloud Quote)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The individual must be well-presented, highly organized, detail-oriented, confident, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure and carry out multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve all sales objectives and monthly targets by maximising opportunities with every Client whether face-to-face, via telephone, or via virtual communication.
  • Comply with all applicable sales processes and requirements.
  • Hunt for potential new Clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Meet potential Clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Research and build relationships with new Clients.
  • Set up meetings with the Client's decision makers and involve Management where required.
  • Conduct regular visits to Clients.
  • Design solutions and costings for quotes, proposals, and presentations.
  • Accurate and factual Quoting.
  • Assist and compile tenders and costings as required.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administration tasks.
  • Strive to achieve a consistently high level of customer satisfaction through outstanding personal and professional conduct.
  • Ensure Client consultations are professional and avoid the use of slang.
  • Be aware of current business processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and customer service.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Meet all deadlines as required and as set by Management.
  • Communicate your progress, sales pipeline, and objectives and targets in the weekly sales meeting.
