Job Description

Participate in the design of RF & Microwave subsystems, encompassing elements such as power amplifiers, synthesizers with low phase noise, up converters, low-noise receivers, front ends, antennas, and filters. These designs will be implemented on Printed Circuit Boards, waveguide structures, or as coaxial components, all while collaborating within a multidisciplinary project team
Execute the realization, measurement, and evaluation of prototype or production-ready designs
Contribute to the adaptation of prototype designs for industrial production
Provide technical expertise to support system engineers
Take an active role in system-level or conceptual design endeavors
Assume the responsibilities of an RF element leader within a project team
Coordinate and participate in design review processes
Create and maintain documentation, including specifications, design data packages, and test procedures
Offer specialized knowledge for internal training as needed within the discipline
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues in the same field, including interns
Assist in handling the technical aspects of developing company proposals/quotations for marketing and sales purposes
Initiate or participate in the advancement of critical technologies within the company

Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of experience in RF & Microwave engineering, including significant involvement in design and implementation, utilization of design methodologies, management of design baselines, understanding of system engineering components, configuration management, quality assurance, and proficiency with relevant technologies and tools
Familiarity with antenna design
Demonstrating a robust and analytical design approach
Proficiency in using schematic capture and PCB layout tools (with a preference for Altium Designer)
Familiarity with the following software is viewed as advantageous: Microwave Office, CST, LT Spice, Matlab/Python, and DOORS
Possessing hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, noise figure meters, and phase noise meters

Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in RF Engineering
Post-grad master's degree or PhD is preferred
