Job Description
RF HARDWARE ENGINEER
Pretoria East
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng (Electronic Engineering)-degree
- 0-5 years hardware development experience in a professional capacity
- Impedance matching and active components.
- RF design, software tools and components.
- RF testing equipment and procedures.
- Python or MATLAB and embedded controllers.
- PCB Design software, specifically Mentor Graphics
- Knowledge of radio technology, receivers, transmitters, ATUs etc
- Develop and qualify RF power amplifiers
- Design and prototype HF and VHF transceiver RF components.
- Design digital RF control hardware integrating with RF components
- Schematic design and PCB layout usign RF cognisant rules.
- Test, debug, optimise and qualify prototype designs.
