Job Summary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems, including schematic design, component selection, and PCB layouts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input during the product development process
• Perform hardware testing, validation, and debugging to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Generate detailed documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and manufacturing instructions
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded hardware design
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure successful production and timely delivery of hardware components
• Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement of the hardware design process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and other embedded hardware components
• Familiarity with industry standard communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART)
• Experience with hardware debugging tools and techniques
• Understanding design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles
• Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations, such as EMC/EMI requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
