This Rentals Superintendent role is based in Kuilsriver, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Management:

• Manage the Rentals maintenance department in alignment with branch objectives.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure efficient operations.
• Budget and Material Management:

• Take charge of budget spend, material ordering, and tool allocations.
• Ensure that refurbishments are within budget parameters.
• Refurbishment Planning:

• Plan and execute the refurbishment plan within a two-week window, regularly circulating updates.
• Coordinate long-term/project requirements and communicate agreed refurbishment plans.
• Building Handovers and Operational Requirements:

• Ensure timely handovers of all buildings to the Fleet Controller in the correct condition.
• Record, monitor, and process operational requirements according to the refurbishment plan.
• Continuous Improvement and Warranty Execution:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility.
• Plan, communicate, and execute the warranty plan within agreed time and cost objectives.
• Assets, Stock, and Integrity:

• Control the stores function to minimize stock levels while ensuring an uninterrupted supply.
• Manage and report on redundant stock, ensuring corrective action is taken.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly stock counts and reporting.
• Oversee the grading of all returns and update the ERP system accordingly.
• Administration:

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Facilitate staff training and development.

Qualification and Experience needed:

• Degree in Finance
• 3 years management experience
