Job Description


Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist.

Requirements:

  • NQF level 6 or 7 qualification in Business, Commerce or Human Resources.
  • An Honours degree or equivalent in Business, Commerce or Human Resources would be advantageous.
  • 5+ years proven experience as a Remuneration and Benefits Specialist.
  • 5+ years' experience working within related compensation frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience in Remuneration in a global organization would be advantageous.
  • Experience consulting with and influencing business leaders in matters pertaining to remuneration.
  • A proven track record of executing compensation related outputs.
  • Experience consulting with people business partners in all key aspects of remuneration and benefits implementation.
  • Experience with administration of compensation systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the daily package structuring and execution of employee compensation.
  • Support the compensation execution of aspects of the annual increase and bonus processes.
  • Support the reviewing annual share allocations as well as the vesting thereof.
  • Support with approving car and other ad hoc compensations.
  • Ensure that benchmarking and analysis, annual pay review etc. are executed in line with the remuneration philosophy, policy and strategies.
  • Responding to queries and acting as an escalation point for human resources operations.
  • Support the payroll, benefits and compensation execution teams.
  • Participate in the enablement of employee wellness culture within the compensation team.
  • Monitor compensation execution costs while ensuring service delivery to the organization.
  • Ensure effective communication and operationalizing of programs and processes locally to deliver project objectives.
  • Provide advice to line managers and business leaders on remuneration for individual employees which are often complex.
