Are you a detail-oriented QS and Cost controller looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing business? We are a small but dynamic construction and building company seeking a talented professional to take full responsibility for our costings, quoting's, and financial management.

Salary:
approx. R20,500 for full time equivalent- part time working will be pro rata of this amount.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all project costings, ensuring accurate estimates for materials, labor, and overheads.
Prepare and submit detailed quotes to clients, ensuring competitive pricing aligned with business objectives. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control throughout each project's lifecycle.
Take full ownership of KPI dashboard- Sales and Marketing, team and financials
Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and the project management team to ensure projects remain within budget.
Provide regular financial reports to management, identifying any potential cost-saving opportunities or risks. Ensure all work is compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
Takes ownership of team log system
Full ownership of Project based Profit & Loss account
Requirements:
Proven experience, minimum 3 years as a QS and cost controller in the construction/building industry.
Strong understanding of cost estimation, financial planning, and budget management.
Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and contractors.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant qualifications in QS and cost control, Construction Management, or a related field.
UK construction experience would be preferred
