Project Manager - Marine Projects (12-Month Contract)
Location: Simonstown Dockyard
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Mobilization: September 2025)
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret-level Security Clearance required
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in engineering and marine-related projects. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience managing complex, compliance-driven environments with strong integration, supply chain, and statutory oversight.
Minimum Requirements:

NQF Level 7 qualification in an Engineering discipline
PMP certification and/or Postgraduate qualification in Project Management
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Proven experience in managing marine or defence-related projects
Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
Solid understanding of safety, security, and regulatory frameworks

Project Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering firm for a major Marine contract based at Simonstown Dockyard. The contract duration is 12 months, with mobilization set for September 2025. All roles require candidates to be eligible for Security Clearance at Secret level. This is a high-profile opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute to a key national project within the defence and maritime sector.
