SUMMARY:
Configuration Manager - Marine Projects (12-Month Contract)
Location: Simonstown Dockyard
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Mobilization: September 2025)
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret-level Security Clearance required
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to oversee document control, configuration management processes, and integration within a highly regulated marine engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in managing configuration across multi-disciplinary projects and a strong understanding of compliance, ISO standards, and engineering documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10-15 years' experience in configuration management and document control
- Proficiency in configuration management software and document control systems
- Strong experience in ISO auditing, compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
- High-level reporting and documentation capabilities
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, isometrics, and technical documents
- Solid understanding of integration planning across mechanical, electrical, architectural, procurement, quality, and safety disciplines
- Working knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Analytical and structured thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and traceability
- Highly effective communicator and collaborative team player
- Professional, ethical, and comfortable working in complex environments

All roles require candidates to be eligible for Security Clearance at Secret level.
