Production Coordinator Reporting to: Production Manager
Seniority Level: Mid Career
Type: Temporary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the blending and mixing of ingredients in the Salad Dressing Plant while ensuring safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensuring precise adherence to recipes and batch control documents.
- Monitoring mixing processes to guarantee consistency and quality.
- Operating and maintaining mixing equipment.
- Managing allergen control and ingredient quality.
- Keeping detailed batch records.
- Coordinating with Raw Material and Packing Coordinators.
- Training and supervising mixing staff.
- Conducting safety and procedural training.
- Participating in audits and process improvements.
- Managing staff leave and attendance.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Grade 12 and Minimum NQF Level 5 relevant qualification.
- 3 years of experience in a similar production role.
- Proficiency in English and MS Office.
- Knowledge of FSSC22000 and quality control procedures.
- Understanding of HACCP and food safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
