Job Description

Position overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Production Coordinator to oversee the production process of our print and digital publications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the workflow from concept to final print, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee the entire production process for multiple integrated, annual sustainability or ESG reports, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Coordinating the work of all the people involved in publishing a book: proofreaders, typesetters, quality controllers and designers.

Collaborate with advisory, design, and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals.

Monitor and evaluate production schedules, reviewing timelines as necessary to meet deadlines.

Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards of output.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing and digital technology to improve processes and end products.

Prepare reports on production workflow and executed tasks.

Requirements:

Two-plus years of experience in print production, preferably in magazine or report publishing.

Strong understanding of long-form publication design, layout and typesetting.

Layout and typesetting skills using tools like Adobe InDesign will be an advantage.

Excellent internal project management and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
