Job Description

Leader in water and wastewater treatment seeks a Process Engineer to provide dedicated process and operations support to various internal departments. Based in Johannesburg. For the position you would be required to have:

• B.Eng/ B.Sc/ in Chemical Engineering ESSENTIAL
• 3 - 5 to yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a process engineer in water treatment, operations, turnkey projects or a similar field
• Cooling tower chemistry and optimization experience will be an advantage
• Dewatering equipment optimisation and operation will be an advantage
• Driverxe2x80x99s license

• Development and close out of any critical commercial, process or operational shortcomings / initiatives as may be identified
• Site audits covering water, waste and energy portfolios
• Identify additional scope on existing client sites for water/waste/energy
• Ongoing review and improvement of performance against contractual and best practice operational KPIxe2x80x99s
• Review, development and improvement of SOPxe2x80x99s to ensure compliance with contractual and best practice
• Review, develop and improve daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Ongoing review and efficiency improvement related to chemical dosing regimes with the support of Engineering and Procurement
• Review of client process and identification of possible process improvements with the support of Engineering
• Preparation of optimisation plans related to the site(s) with the support of Engineering and Procurement
• Commissioning, including documentation preparation, pre-commissioning, cold and hot commissioning activities and troubleshooting
• Performance testing and reporting
