Reporting to the Head of Preferential Procurement the successful incumbent will oversee and coordinate the reporting process related to preferential procurement and sourcing activities within the organization, demonstrate a deep understanding of preferential procurement principles and policies, align to relevant codes and regulations related to preferential procurement, such as B-BBEE, knowledge of PPPFA by staying up-to-date with the provisions and guidelines outlined and ensuring adherence to the Act's requirements in all procurement and sourcing activities.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor of Commerce- Supply Chain Management and/or Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.).
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Preferential Procurement and Sourcing from the financial or insurance industry
- Certified qualification in Procurement (e.g., CIPS - Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of financial and insurance products, services, and regulations
