Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking the expertise of a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership of the design office within the roads section.
Responsibilities:
- Effective leadership and management of design, production of engineering drawings, preparation of tender documents
- Management of delivery of projects from planning to close out
- Monthly reporting and cost control
- Training of technical staff
- Pr Eng
- Minimum of 5 years' post-graduation experience in the consulting engineering environment in Transport Infrastructure, specifically in the fields of planning, pavement engineering, geometric design, stormwater drainage design, contract administration and supervision of roads contracts
- Experience in road rehabilitation design
- Proven track record in management of a design office
- Must be able to work independently and be able to interact with relevant stakeholders at management level
- Salary: R700K/yr - R1Mil/yr, salary negotiable
