Duties:
Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Ensure the cleanliness of the poolside service areas, including clearing tables, removing trash, and keeping the area organized.
Attentive to guest needs, respond to requests, and try to anticipate needs to enhance their overall experience.
Suggestively sell menu items and daily specials and inform guests about promotions.
Process payments and handle cash or operate point-of-sale systems.
Work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, especially when handling food and beverages.
Maintain a positive and friendly demeanour while interacting with guests and colleagues.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 2 3 years experience at a high-end restaurant / hotel environment
Fully computer literate
The ability to interact effectively with guests and other staff.
The ability to provide attentive and helpful service, handle complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction.
The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure.
The ability to stand for extended periods, move around the pool area, and carry trays of food and drinks.
Understanding of menu items, preparation methods, and serving standards.
Basic math skills
Flexibility to work shifts: Including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude and professional appearance.
The ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively
