Programme Overview
We are a vibrant, community-focused centre serving children in Diepsloot, aged 2-17 years. Our mission is to demonstrate the love of Jesus by meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of children through discipleship and daily meals. We are passionate about creating a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment where children can grow in faith and flourish in life.

Role Purpose
To facilitate morning play school sessions (ages 3-5) and afterschool academic support (Grades R-7)
while actively engaging in ministry work. The Facilitator supports children spiritually, academically,
emotionally, and physically.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate early learning sessions for ages 3-5.
- Lead structured play, story time, and outdoor activities.
- Provide literacy and numeracy support in the afternoons.
- Mentor children and encourage emotional development.
- Assist with meal preparation and distribution.
- Participate in devotions and reinforce biblical values.
- Maintain attendance and keep learning spaces organised.
Competencies
- Understanding of early childhood development.
- Ability to teach foundational literacy and numeracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ministry-minded, patient, dependable, and compassionate.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric.
- ECD qualification or willingness to study.
- Experience working with children.
- Clear background and safeguarding check.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday: 07:00-17:00
Every 2nd Saturday: 08:00-12:00
