Job Title: Kids Ministry Leader & Cook

Reports to:

Head of Operations

Programme Lead: Play School & Afterschool Ministry

Role Purpose

To oversee the Play School & Afterschool Ministry, including curriculum planning, staff supervision, feeding coordination, and Gospel-centred ministry guidance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the full programme schedule.

- Supervise facilitators and volunteers.

- Oversee academic development and ensure quality teaching.

- Conduct child progress reviews and oversee discipline.

- Manage feeding operations and ensure hygiene.

- Lead ministry activities and spiritual nurturing.

- Maintain administrative records including attendance and incident reports.

Competencies

- Strong leadership and programme management.

- Knowledge of ECD and foundation-phase development.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ministry-minded, compassionate, ethical, and calm.

Minimum Requirements

- Matric.

- ECD Level 4 or higher preferred.

- 2+ years relevant educational experience.

- Leadership experience advantageous.

- Clear child-protection screening.

Working Hours

Monday-Friday: 07:00-17:00

Every 2nd Saturday: 08:00-12:00
