Job Description


We are urgently looking for a Plant Hire & Logistics Administrator to perform a wide range of administrative, field support activities at our Richards Bay Branch . Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Sales

  • Implement sales strategies and identify sales opportunities
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates
  • Consult with workshop team to plan advertising services to secure information on equipment and customer specification
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Identify clientxe2x80x99s need, explain and demonstrate services offered
  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with customers and co-workers
Logistics Assist in monitoring of all plant and vehicles using the tracker system Fuel management Assist in any Fleet related Adhoc requirements. Keep an up to date records of the maintenance service schedule Keep an up to date records for tyre replacement schedule Maintaining an up to date records of vehicle repairs and damages schedule Sourcing of quotes for plant, vehicles and equipment spares Prepare a reconciliation schedule of the fuel accounts Ensure all relevant documentation relating to hire is administered correctly. Operations Ensures that the workshop is managed effectively and efficiently: Ensure that professional repairs are conducted Supervise the storage of the workshop tools Plan and report on the job cards of work that has been done and costing the jobs. Ensure correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct filed to the relevant folders Making requisitions for all materials and other resources required as per job card Conduct quality checks. Enforce service plans and prepare service schedules for all plant, vehicles and equipment. Enforce inspections for all plant, vehicles and equipment Conduct assessments of field work to be done before contracts are signed Education and Experience Relevant Plant Hire & Logistics Work experience (is a must) Knowledge of spares , plant and equipment Pastel/ Buildsmart Experience +Relevant Logistics / Mechanical Qualification computer skills and knowledge of relevant software Drivers licence Willing to travel Key Competencies communication skills - written and verbal planning and organizing prioritizing problem solving information gathering attention to detail and accuracy flexibility adaptability customer service orientation teamwork Job Type: Full-time Ability to commute/relocate:
