Job Description
Position : People Specialist
Location : Boksburg
Type: Permanent role (full time in office)
The People Specialist will be based at the global manufacturing site in Boksburg and will report to the People Manager. They will provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across key areas of the HR value chain and ensure the smooth execution of all HR processes to maintain a positive work environment.
Specifically, the People Specialist will be required to:
- Recruitment: Liaise with recruitment agencies to source and screen CV's for operational vacancies.
- Payroll: Consolidate and submit monthly payroll reports (leave & overtime) accurately
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Plan, coordinate and execute the onboarding & offboarding
- HR Events: Assist in the planning and execution of all events e.g. wellness week,
- IR/ER: Assist managers with drafting and issuing disciplinary warnings and assist with
- Training: Coordinate and arrange all factory training. Maintain and upkeep all training
- EHS: Collaborate with EHS Officer to ensure all employees adhere to the EHS
This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who is detail-orientated, people-focused and
committed to delivering high-quality support across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in HR/ Psychology from a leading university and experience in a HR Generalist/HRBP role in a similar environment. An ability to solve problems and maintaining confidentiality & integrity are non-negotiable attributes for this role. This role is exciting in the sense that you get to part of all parts of HR and have a lot of fun and freedom in implementing things.
