About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Out of Hours Account Manager
to support a UK-based
Facilities and Property Reactive Maintenance
contract.
This role is critical to ensuring our client receives a seamless, professional service outside of normal business hours, managing reactive maintenance calls, coordinating contractors, and maintaining SLA compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
Acting as the
first point of contact
for all out-of-hours reactive maintenance calls
Answering inbound calls from client sites, tenants, and stakeholders
Logging and prioritising maintenance issues in a CAFM/helpdesk system
Assessing job urgency in line with SLAs and criticality levels (P1-P4)
Dispatching and liaising with approved contractors
Managing emergency and high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
Keeping clients informed with clear updates and resolutions
Escalating critical incidents when required
Producing clear handover notes for the daytime account team
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Experience within
Facilities Management, Property Maintenance, or Reactive Helpdesk
environments
Strong telephone-based customer service skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions out of hours
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of reactive maintenance priorities and SLAs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R18000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
