• Previous experience in optical dispensing or as an optical assistant

Description

• Assist clients in selecting the perfect eyewear and lenses based on their specific needs and preferences.
• Provide accurate measurements and fitting to ensure optimal vision correction.
• Offer expert advice on lens materials, coatings, and frames, taking into consideration style, comfort, and functionality.
• Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain inventory and order eyewear products as needed.
• Conduct repairs and adjustments on eyewear, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in optical technology.
• Assist Patients with Frame and lens Selections
• Advising on best frame lens options
• Taking accurate measurements
• Placing of spectacle orders
• Final checking
• Dispensing
• Adjustments
• Basic repairs
• Build and retain customer relationships
• Office-related Admin

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in optical assistance or dispensing optics.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
• Enthusiastic about staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
• Qualification as an Optical Dispenser.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end practice.
• Exceptional knowledge of various lens options, frames, and optical products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Tech-savvy with experience in using optical software and tools
