Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Two years of IT-related working experience
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch IT support services to ensure the smooth operation of BMW Plants globally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing Production Support (IT) for all BMW Plants outside of Germany.
- Being the primary point of contact for IT incidents related to production issues.
- Pre-qualifying IT incidents and classifying additional relationships.
- Fixing incidents in IT systems in accordance with user manuals.
- Monitoring IT system error messages and processing them accordingly.
- Providing guidance throughout the incident management processes.
- Initiating the IT escalation process when required.
- Processing email requests in a timely manner.
- Serving as an "Information channel" for management and end-users.
- Working shifts as part of a team providing 24 x 7 x 365 support.
