- Fluent in Business English (Verbal & written)
- Fluent in Business Spanish (Verbal & written)
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- Information Technology Qualification (Advantageous, but not a pre-requisite)
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Two years of IT-related working experience
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Production Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering operations support services and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide Production Support (IT) for all BMW Plants outside of Germany.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT incidents related to production issues.
- Pre-qualify IT incidents and classify additional relationships.
- Fix incidents in IT systems in accordance with user manuals.
- Monitor IT system error messages and process them accordingly.
- Provide guidance throughout the incident management processes.
- Initiate the IT escalation process when required.
- Process email requests in a timely manner.
- Serve as an "Information channel" for management and end-users.
- Work in shifts as part of a team providing 24 x 7 x 365 support.
