Job Description


Job Summary Minimum requirement

  • Min 3 years experience in a Facilities Management role.
  • A Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical will be advantageous.
  • Facilities management or property management diploma will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
Technical services and maintenance
  • Implementation of preventative maintenance plans in accordance with required regulations and standards.
  • Conduct inspections of assets to assist with the compilation of the annual building audit.
  • Monitoring of operating procedures and best practices to ensure standards and life expectancy of equipment and systems are maintained.
Soft Services
  • Assist with the procurement process and monitoring of suitable and accredited suppliers appointed according to company policies.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in the drafting of SLA's and scopes for signature.
  • Monitor the performance management of appointed service providers.
Building Maintenance and projects
  • Implementation of preventative maintenance plans.
  • Conduct inspections of assets to assist with compiling the annual billing.
  • Implementing best practices to ensure standards and life expectancy of building materials.
  • Ensure Maintenance is done by maintenance technicians and a sign of on systems.
Financial Management
  • Assist with the compilation of operational expenses.
  • Assist with ensuring that budgets are based on annual building audits, preventative maintenance plans, lifestyle requirements, and business needs.
Utility Manager
  • Monitor the utility management process in line with the approved SLA.
  • Monitor that all related equipment and systems are in order.
Sustainability and Innovation
  • Monitor the sustainability of projects and equipment on site.
Risk Management and Compliance
  • Monitor and report on the process and systems within the area of accountability to ensure compliance and minimize business risk.
  • Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented.
Customer Service
  • Provides exceptional customer service when interacting with internal or external customers.
Admin and Reporting
  • Assist with monthly reports for management meetings.
  • Maintain master files.
  • Updating of the health and safety plans.
  • Keep a record of information required for the asset registers.
  • Monitor outstanding purchase orders to ensure turnaround in line with policy time frames.
