The Operations Assistant will have previous experience in basic accounting principles to compile reconciliations of what has been purchased from vendors and what needs to be paid to vendors.
Matric Accounting will suffice.
You should ideally have a diploma in Logistics or IT OR have work experience in a similar role with a basic understanding of logistics.
Ideally have experience working on SAGE
You should have very high attention to detail, be meticulous in your work and an ability to spot anomalies quickly.
You should thrive in a highly pressurised environment and be prepared to work after hours when necessary.
Duties:
Provide operational support to the Commercial and Consumer product team
Processing of orders on Vendor
Managing of ETAs and orders placed
Liaise with the Receiving team regarding deliveries of all orders, supply of invoices for deliveries etc.
Compiling of various reports to submit to Vendor and Internally.
Responsible for client warranty Quotes and Orders
