Profile for Success
To achieve these objectives, you will need a track record of past accomplishments, including:
- Core Requirement: Demonstrated experience in building or significantly overhauling a vulnerability management program from the ground up.
- Core Requirement: Proven success in leading projects to audit, reconfigure, and harden network security infrastructure like firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Minimum Requirement: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated network security or cybersecurity role.
- Experience conducting compliance gap analyses against standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or POPIA.
- A history of developing and delivering technical documentation, incident response playbooks, or user training programs.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, as are certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP, but we prioritize evidence of your accomplishments over credentials alone.
