MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Formal qualifications in agriculture or related fields.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mushroom cultivation, with a strong understanding of the entire process (compost making, growing, and harvesting).
Extensive knowledge of different mushroom varieties and growing conditions.
Experience in scaling mushroom production for commercial purposes.
Familiarity with organic or sustainable farming practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems related to growing, pests, and environmental conditions
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Strong communication skills, ability to train and guide team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Prepare and manage the compost process, ensuring optimal conditions for mushroom growth.
Oversee the entire mushroom growth cycle, from inoculation to fruiting, ensuring healthy yields.
Implement effective pest and disease management strategies.
Ensure proper harvesting techniques and post-harvest processes are followed to maintain product quality.
Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, light) and ensure that growing conditions are optimized at all stages.
Work with the cultivation team to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
