Specializing in strategic communication that drives meaningful impact, they are seeking a passionate and experienced Mid to Senior Level Account Manager to join their team.
Job summary: * As a Mid Level Account Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of diverse clients, leading the development and execution of impactful communication strategies.

  • You'll leverage your deep understanding of various industries - from lifestyle and business to tech - to build strong client relationships, drive results, and mentor junior team members.
  • A key component of this role involves using your established media contact book to secure high-profile placements and build lasting relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for uncovering the "why" behind every brand.
Responsibilities:
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Strategic planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with client goals and deliver measurable results.
  • Project management: Lead the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
  • Media relations: Leverage your strong media contacts and relationships to secure positive coverage for clients.
  • Team leadership: Mentor and guide junior account team members, fostering their growth and development.
  • Financial management: Manage project budgets and ensure accurate invoicing and reporting.
  • Industry expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices across various sectors, including lifestyle, business, and tech.
  • "Why" champion: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the firm's "why" focused approach and ensure its integration into all client strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in account management at a communications or PR agency.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and delivering results.
  • Strong understanding of communication strategies and tactics across various channels.
  • Excellent media relations skills with established media contacts.
  • Experience working with clients across diverse industries, including lifestyle, business, and tech.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant degree.
