Job Description

Company is Centurion is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.



Responsibilities and duties will include



Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for Weapons and their components.



Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards.



Create 2D and 3D CAD models and technical schematics using CAD software.



Prepare manufacturing documentation, including assembly instructions, parts lists, and technical specifications.



Ensure that all designs meet the company's quality standards and are produced within project timelines.



Perform design analysis, including tolerance checks, stress analysis, and material selection.



Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations to support project development



Key Qualifications

Type of qualification:

Engineering Degree



2 + Years of experience required



Proficiency in certain applications/computer programmes

Essential:

AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA.

Preferred:

Simulation software (MSC One, Ansys )

Sound knowledge of:

Design and Implementation thereof



Skills and Abilities

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.



Familiarity with military standards and regulations regarding weapons and defense equipment.



Ability to perform detailed tolerance checks, stress analysis, and material selection.

Personal Traits:

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate drawings and designs.



Ability to listen to feedback while standing firm on well-founded design decisions.



Passion for design and problem-solving.



Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.



Self-driven and goal-oriented.



Interest in the defense industry.



Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
