Job Summary
Job Title: Senior Mechatronic Engineer
Location: Tshwane Metro, Pretoria, Rosslyn
Job Type: 3 year contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems and components
- Conduct research to identify new technologies and methods to improve existing systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechatronic systems to ensure functionality and reliability
- Create detailed documentation and reports on system design, testing, and performance
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechatronic system design and implementation
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and modelling
- Familiarity with control systems and automation technologies
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven experience in designing and implementing mechatronic systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
