Location: Johannesburg, Randburg
Purpose of the Position: As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing team by assisting, project managing and executing across various marketing activities and campaigns. This role involves coordinating tasks, assisting with campaign management, and ensuring that marketing efforts are carried out efficiently. You will work closely with the marketing manager, cross-functional team members and external suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives. Key Performance Objectives Marketing Coordination
  • Assist with managing marketing campaigns and activities including project management, calendar updates, planning, strategy input, briefs, cross-team communication, integration, and execution.
  • Coordinate and assist with marketing asset creation and delivery for key marketing channels.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials.
  • Assist in the organization and coordination of events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance of marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Assist in developing key marketing reports and presentations.
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets and ensure all marketing activities are thoroughly documented and archived.
  • Quality control checks on all assets to ensure assets delivered are on brief, to the correct standard and on brand.
  • Input into process optimization for the marketing department to improve delivery and efficiency.
  • Assist in managing agencies and consultants to deliver against marketing priorities and plans.
  • Active involvement in content selection in partnership with marketing manager, studio, and content teams as input into marketing plans and executions.
  • Ensure the smooth running of campaigns from brief to delivery ensuring marketing campaigns and assets are delivered to plan, on time and to the correct standard.
  • Project manage marketing campaigns and activities from start to finish.
  • Support the marketing team with administrative tasks.
  • Provide regular status updates to ensure campaigns and asset delivery are on track, anticipate bottle necks and flag any key risks or delays.
  • Assistance in collecting relevant marketing insights and research to aid in developing marketing strategy.
Stakeholder Management
  • Drive alignment across internal and external teams across key regions to drive marketing strategy and brand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver key marketing campaigns and assets.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive smooth collaboration across the various teams.
  • Maintain clear communication of correct information and manage expectations across key internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and collaborate with agencies, production houses, sponsors, event organisers, media and other external suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Regular follow up and feedback with critical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with in-country teams to assist in delivering integrated marketing executions, as well as ensure brand consistency to drive acquisition.
  • Assist in driving strong relationships with Multichoice group teams to leverage synergies between the companies to deliver integrated marketing activities and drive efficiencies.
  • Work closely with in-house studio to assist in delivering marketing assets and campaigns aligned to the marketing strategy including conceptualisation, development, and production of marketing campaigns across consumer segments and touch points to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with content and sport stakeholders; enabling them to meet channel objectives by assisting in delivering campaigns and executions that meet business results.

Qualifications Essential
  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Branding/Communication/Advertising or equivalent qualification
Experience/Skills
  • A minimum of 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in marketing, brand or account management.
  • Agency experience advantageous.
  • Experience in entertainment industry (Pay TV or OTT) advantageous.
  • Marketing/advertising experience across other African regions advantageous.
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix with proven ability to assist in the delivery of brand and marketing campaigns and activities across channels.
  • Budget admin management experience, skills and proficiency.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly creative with ability to think out of box.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience dealing with 3rd party vendors, advertising and media agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
