Our client in the Security industry is currently looking to employ a Marketing Coordinator, to be based in Port Elizabeth.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. (Preference to Bachelors qualification.)
  • Proven experience of at least 3 - 5 years in Marketing, Social Media Management, and Demand Generation.
  • Computer literate and preference to Design / Creative software (basic).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for each.
  • Ability to work under pressure and extended hours as result of tight deadlines and activations / branding campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Management:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Newsletters, etc.
  • Create engaging, high-quality content, including text, image, and video posts tailored for different social media channels, all to achieve specific objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse social media trends, audience behaviour, and competitor activities to optimize content and strategies.
  • Manage social media calendars, scheduling posts, and maintaining a consistent online presence.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth.
Lead Generation:
  • Assist with the design and execution on lead generation campaigns to attract potential customers through various marketing channels and platforms.
  • Utilise analytics tools to track and measure the performance of lead generation efforts and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Support and propose possible strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel, working closely with sales teams.
Marketing Activations and Activities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement various activations in line with the standards of the brand and in line with multiple objectives.
  • Ensuring activations remain within the allocated budget.
  • Management, support and coordination of personnel involved in the activation.
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor key metrics and KPIs related to social media and lead generation, providing regular reports with actionable insights for optimization.
  • Use data-driven analysis to refine strategies, improve performance, and drive better results.
Stay Updated and Innovative:
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and lead generation.
  • Explore, support, and propose new ideas and innovative approaches to improve campaign performance and audience engagement.
