Job Title: Junior Restaurant Manager
Location: Brackenfell, Western Cape
Job Summary:
A non-franchise restaurant in Brackenfell is seeking a dedicated and motivated Junior Restaurant Manager to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards in both guest experience and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of House (FOH):
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
Manage and confirm reservations, including setup of reserved tables.
Complete and balance daily cash-ups accurately.
Back of House (BOH):
Oversee the timely dispatch of food orders.
Monitor and maintain the quality of all products leaving the kitchen.
Organize and supervise preparation and portioning of ingredients.
Lead and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock control.
Requirements:
Preferably reside in Brackenfell, Durbanville, or Kuils River area.
Full-time availability, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Prior supervisory or management experience in the hospitality industry will be an advantage.
