Crisis24 is seeking an Intelligence Manager to run the Health category team within the Global Intelligence department. The candidate must be skilled at open-source research and writing for a professional audience. A background in a broad spectrum of health-related topics and statistical analysis is required; significant knowledge within infectious disease epidemiology and/or public health is strongly preferred. The successful applicant will lead Crisis24xe2x80x99s Health category team in providing timely, accurate, and relevant intelligence to customers in the form of brief tactical alerts, situation reports, in-depth assessments, and periodic special reports primarily focusing on communicable disease threats. The incumbent will be a self-starter, composed under pressure, and have demonstrated high-quality written and verbal skills. The successful applicant will perform various duties in support of the Global Intelligence Mission and client support/success as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), delivering actionable, time-sensitive intelligence to help international clients mitigate threats against human and physical assets globally.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Administrative leadership of the Health category team, including shift scheduling, professional development reviews, and project management.
• Quality control and analytical oversight of Health category team products.
• Monitor for global health threats including emerging outbreaks of communicable disease with impact to broad client base, radioactive incidents, or chemical releases that impact health and/or business continuity, and assessing associated health risks.
• Review recommendations made by national and international health authorities.
• Search and assess the accuracy of international daily publications and social media.
• Write and publish alerts and situation reports based on monitoring, in accordance with departmental thresholds and procedures.
• Write and publish various reports on impactful health events globally, including special reports, blog posts, and customer requests, in accordance with departmental and cross-departmental guidelines.
• Contribute to longstanding health security information.
• Respond to client Requests for Information promptly and thoroughly.
• Create maps, graphs, and charts of health threats where applicable.
• Provide SME support for Crisis24 corporate; assists other departments in their missions.
• Provide SME support to clients and customers outside of listed duties (webinars, FAQxe2x80x99s, other) as needed.
• Collaborate with other divisions within Crisis24 to ensure service and product delivery.
• In conjunction with the rest of the team, research and maintains the location intelligence database to ensure it remains current, accurate, and of practical use to clients.

Experience, Functional and Technical Requirements:

• Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Health/Medical related field required.
• 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a related field.
• Experience with international travel or expatriate living a plus.

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to write in a clear and precise manner.
• Presentation skills.
• English proficiency is a must, additional language proficiency is desirable.
• Must have outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility within defined processes and procedures and ability to adapt to shifting SOPs as necessary.
• Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
• Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
