Job Description
A well-established public entity is seeking to appoint a xe2x80x93 Space Intelligence Service Manager
The successful candidate will provide an Earth Observation (EO) Space Intelligence capability to drive the EO Programme.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of PhD qualification in Geospatial science with a strong background in remote sensing.
- Evidence of domain understanding through remote sensing scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings.
- At least 10 years of experience in the EO space intelligence environment.
- Demonstrated 5 years of experience managing diverse teams.
- Ability to interact with a network of senior stakeholders and clients.
- Experience in remote sensing processing supply chains.
- Insight into requirements of the EO Space Intelligence environment.
- Understanding of business management processes.
- Due to the specialized and technical nature of the environment as well as the need for good leadership, the position requires a scarce combination of remote sensing, GIS, research, and leadership/management skills.
- EO Space Intelligence Development.
- EO Space Intelligence Strategy Development and Implementation.
- Financial and Procurement Management.
- People Management.
- Project Management.
