Our client in the Tyre industry is currently looking for a Market Intelligence Manager, in Woodmead.
Responsibilities:
Capture/gather and analyze relevant information to facilitate the steering of the entity activities in order to help in the decision-making and provide recommendations.
Support the deployment and maintenance of data repository like IHS, GlobalMiningData, ETRMA, ATMA, AUTOSTATS, other local websites etc.
Support the Marketing Intelligence organization with timely reporting, insights and automation of recurring activities.
Key operational contact with suppliers to deliver on the market studies/insights projects.
Support Needed/Dependencies:
MINT Manager to support in guiding and co-developing the data and reporting.
Cross-functional teams to support in identifying the needs and validate budgets, where necessary.
Requirements:
Strong background in Business research, leading research project, and consumer insight projects, with a minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience, in Multinational Business environment, consultancy background appreciated.
Masterxe2x80x99s Degree in Quantitative field preferred: Business, Management, Statistics, Economics, or Mathematics.
Strong comfort level with applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and with learning new systems as needed (e.g., Micro strategy)
Expert Market Intelligence Manager with Market Intelligence experience (3 years or more)
Team Player, proactive and motivated, with a positive attitude and a tendency to look for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities.
Excellent communication skills, an ability to distil complex issues into clear, concise communications.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with analysing large amounts of data.
Ability to use data to tell a story at a strategic level.
Understanding of corporate development.
Simplify complex issues to clear and concise information using data.
Ideally have a Business Development qualification.
Ability to build long term plans.
Work closely with the Pricing team and Corporate Strategic Manager.
Candidates from Consulting environments (environments like Accenture consulting for Automotive/Mining).
Ability to use huge amounts of data and convert to storytelling.
