In your role as a Maintenance Technician you will start the first 4 weeks in the day shift. During these weeks you will get to know the machines, the way of working and the system Ultimo. Through this system you will be assigned malfunctions, mechanical and maintenance jobs. Once you have completed a job, you will process your findings and work, so that your colleagues in the other shifts are aware of the next job.

Once you are fully settled in, you will see that the bakery continues 24/7. Together with your colleagues you will work early, day, evening and night shifts.

Your responsibilities and tasks include:

• Performing preventive maintenance;
• Performing inspections based on a maintenance schedule;
• Testing the operation and readiness of the machine/plant;
• Investigating the cause of a malfunction;
• Independently solving short-term malfunctions and thinking along to long-term structural solutions;
• Making improvement proposals to prevent future malfunctions;
• Giving instructions to users regarding more sustainable use;
• Performing safe operations in accordance with regulations.

Job requirements

• Any experience as a technical service employee, all-round mechanic or (electrical) mechanic in the process industry, preferably gained in the food industry OR experience as technician in engine driving and propulsion technology;
• Any knowledge of mechatronics, pneumatics and LVS welding;
• Someone who can move quickly when solving minor and major malfunctions.
• You have a great sense of responsibility, because technically the 24/7 running of the bakery lies with you and your team.
• You are flexible
