Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Millwright wanted in to take on the role of a Maintenance Technician at a future-focused water resource specialist in Mpumalanga!
Are you a qualified Millwright or Electrician with 5 years post-trade test experience in the maintenance of large electro-mechanical installations? Are you proficient in SCADA, PLCs and instrumentation? Do you have a Wiremans License or are you studying towards one?
You might be just the candidate we need to provide effective electrical and mechanical support to the operations team to ensure optimal plant availability!
Key responsibilities include attending to breakdowns, performing routine services and maintenance, monitoring plant conditions, and assisting with equipment specifications and installations. You should have knowledge in instrumentation and controls, and a basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Additional desired knowledge includes VSD applications, medium voltage switchgear operating and maintenance principles, and 22KV overhead power line inspections and maintenance.
