Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader Gouda - Market Related Salary

The Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader will be responsible for the new projects, continuous improvements, maintenance (preventative and reactive) and maintain high operating standard of all fix assets. To implement and maintain TPM (Fixed Capital Management (Asset Preservation) TPM) & the upkeep and preventive maintenance of all current fixed assets (buildings, machines) to ensure zero downtime. Implementation of future capital projects from the planning phase to the industrial phase. Maintaining the mechanical, electrical as well as related systems of all assets of the plant.

Requirements:

  • Red Seal, Trade Tested Electrician or Millwright
  • 4-5 years in a management or supervisor role directly related to continuous improvement & maintenance with the FMCG Industry
  • Good Automation, Electrical & PLC Knowledge & experience
  • Willing to live and work in a remote area
  • Highly motivated and proactive (hands on)
Responsibilities:

Human Capital Management
  • Sourcing, allocation and align.
  • Confirm man assignments.
  • Job descriptions and job specs for all positions in the man assignment.
  • Negotiate the JD & JS with each employee and sign.
  • Appoint and allocate human capital to the man assignment.
  • Monitor labor variances. (Scheduled labor vs actual labor worked)
Monitoring and development the competency (ASK)
  • Develop world class employees ((KPIs 2)
  • Training needs analysis based on the KPIs, see doc#
  • Update training matrices according to the training needs analysis (doc#)
  • Update training plan/schedule see doc#
  • Develop your human capital according to the training plan/schedule to reach a KPI rating of 2.
  • Implement and maintaining the first 4 pillars of the 10 pillars of operational excellence.
Discipline
  • Monitoring, and appraising job results (KPIs)
  • Coaching, counseling, and disciplining, incentives employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintenance
  • Monitor and align the efficiency of company fix assets (OEE > 70%) to world class standards.
  • Upholds high work quality. (Zero internal customer complaints).
  • Ensures high operating efficiency. (99 % machine availability).
  • Ensuring that all routine and preventative maintenance requirements are defined and documented and that the tasks are carried out as planned (Maintenance Plan and Schedule).
  • Ensuring that all critical spares items are defined and documented and that appropriate stock levels are securely stored on site.
  • Set and monitor work priorities and targets for all areas (Electrical, Maintenance and Projects).
  • Continuously evaluate the efficiency and reliability of the systems with the view of improving the system performance and lowering the total system life-cycle cost.
  • Making Shut Down plans, Spares management.
  • Eliminate breakdowns by implement and maintain TPM (GEN2SOP58_Fixed Capital Management (Asset Preservation) TPM).
Financial
  • Do yearly budgets.
  • Manage the total operating/maintenance costs of each section against the budget.
  • Control of all overtime worked.
Safety
  • Responsible to ensure full compliance with the OHSA and Regulations (Machinery Act).
  • Maintains high occupational safety standards (Zero IODs).
  • Ensure that the provisions of the Act and Regulations regarding machinery are complied with.
  • Ensure that the required documentation of the statutory appointments is maintained and available. NOTE: APPOINTED BY THE 16(2)]
  • Ensure compliance to the companys health and safety requirements that relate to machinery, such as lock-out, confined space entry, equipment inspections, operator training, machine guarding and hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Ensure that adequate systems are implemented to reduce incidents related to the use of machinery.
  • Implement and maintain company safety procedures and policies, Doc: SHE030.
Process objectives
  • Ensure that all control documents (job cards, stock lists, etc.) are kept updated and that all defined management reports and KPIs are completed according to requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance any defined operational standards and documented procedures by means of routine audits and the implementation of corrective action.
  • Promote a culture of mutual respect, honesty and self-discipline.
  • Any other task that may be reasonably requested from time to time.
  • Point 4.6 in the BRC standard - a documented system of planned maintenance shall be in place, covering all items of equipment and plant which are critical to product safety, legality and quality.
  • High level of problem-solving expertise with effective root cause analysis, standard approach to work methodology.

  • Accurate and up to date documentation and information systems.
  • Critical control check points on all machines. (Smooth operation & quick problem solving)
  • Keep the KPI (QSCP) control charts in ops room up to date.
