Maintenance Administrator
Our client is a leading organization in the engineering and manufacturing sector, and they are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Administrator to be based at their office in the Northern Suburbs.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric Certificate / Grade 12.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Administrative qualification (advantageous)
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience with an ERP system (System knowledge e.g. SYSPRO)
  • Own reliable transport.
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)

  • The ability to be adaptable and responsive to change.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to focus on various administrative tasks and coordination of multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Issuing and updating checklist/ service sheets and files.
  • Review weekly clocking's and timesheets.
  • File tooling job cards.
  • Load all maintenance, electrical, facilities and tooling requisitions on SYSPRO.
  • Update and maintain data for reports.
  • Assist with incident and accident reports.
  • Checking maintenance and tooling hours weekly.
  • Tooling reports on a monthly basis.
  • Update the electrical snag sheet.
  • Printing and handing out maintenance time sheets.
  • Filing MJRS and check sheets weekly.
  • Quotations on breakdowns (cranes and scales).
  • Updating the excel sling register, filing safety harnesses and sling sheet checks.
  • Updating the excel OHC register.
  • Responsible for the signing out of electrical tool register.
  • Assist with maintenance queries on breakdowns.
  • Capturing maintenance sheets and filing.
  • Assist with admin requests from management and filing.
  • Liaise and follow up with stores on quotations and order progress.
  • Tracking procurement progress with the Buyer.
  • Communication with the contractors on quotations, scales and cranes.
  • Inform artisan parts for booking out in store.
  • Ensure the correct paperwork reaches the stores administrator within one business day.
  • Inform the HO maintenance and administrator regarding the forklift services or repairs.
  • Administration of weekly forklift documentation.
  • Follow up with the stores on breakdown progress and completion timeframes.
  • Update and maintain machine maintenance schedules tracker.
  • Managing the form of job logs / tracker for each employee to HR.
  • Assist with any requests from management.
