Job Description
My client, a well established road transport service provider is seeking to employ a Logistics Consultant to join their dynamic team.
The suitable candidate should have at least 3 xe2x80x93 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role within the transport industry. Preferably someone with a relevant qualification (degree or diploma). Experience in the agricultural market will be beneficial.

- Ability to provide excellent customer service and to build relationships
- Ability to work in a team
- Analytical ability
- Prepared to solve problems after hours
- Prepared to travel
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, including regular visits.
- Negotiating new contracts.
- Negotiate transport rates with clients and transporters.
- Manage volumes allocated to the company.
- Understand the running cost of a vehicle to determine CPKxe2x80x99s.
- Analyse commodity trends and adapt to market fluctuations.
- Keep track of the daily and monthly budgets.
- Adding new clients and transporters to our existing book.
