Job Description
Job Purpose
To assist the Litho Press Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Heidelberg Speedmaster press, ensuring high-quality print output, efficient workflow, and safe operation within the printing department.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the press operator with
machine setup
, including plate mounting, ink mixing, and paper loading. Maintainink and material levels
throughout production runs. Monitor press performance andensure consistent print quality
under operator supervision. Performregular cleaning
and minor maintenance of the press, rollers, and work area. Help inregister adjustments, colour control
, and feeding sheets during print runs. Assist withmake-ready
tasks such as blanket washing, paper changes, and plate changes. Ensure properhandling and storage of printed materials
to prevent damage. Report any mechanical or quality issues to the press operator or maintenance team. Follow allsafety and housekeeping procedures
in the pressroom. Supportefficient production scheduling
by keeping materials ready and assisting in quick job turnarounds.Job Type: Full-time
