Job Description
CTP Cartons and Labels have a vacancy available for a Litho/ Printer's Assistant. The successful incumbent will be responsible to assist the Machine Minder to produce the quality required by customers within the specific time.
The ideal candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
Be in possession of a minimum of a Grade 10, but preferably a Grade 12 certificate; Ability to recognize and see colour; Ability to work under pressure and in a demanding environment; Must have experience in handling and piling of board and paper; Must have a good understanding of the basics of sheet fed Litho Printing presses; Must have previous experience of handling of solvents and chemicals; Must be able to work in a team; Must have excellent communication skills; Numeracy and literacy skills are essential; Be eager to work and learn, and have a can-do attitude; Must be able and eager to assist with adhoc duties; Must be able to work shifts and overtime
