Job Brief

This position requires setting up, operating, and maintaining a Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 5 Colour. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of printing processes to ensure high-quality output. The candidate must have prior experience in the printing industry, possess strong technical skills, and are adept at troubleshooting machine issues. The operator plays a crucial role in delivering precision printing solutions for short-run offset projects.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate lithographic press to produce high-quality printed materials. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to optimize printing quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing machines to minimize downtime. Review job specifications and ensure proper alignment, ink distribution, and color matching. Maintain accurate records of production output, materials used, and machine performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the printing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing technology is a plus. Proven experience as a Lithographing Machine Operator. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for printing equipment. Familiarity with various offset printing techniques. Knowledge of color theory and ability to perform color corrections. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
