Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sourcing

  • Prepare a monthly action plan for sourcing new learners.
  • Engage with hospitals, disability centres, clinics, NPOs/NGOs, community outreach hubs, shopping centres, etc. for candidate recruitment.
  • Host in-house and external campaigns and/or career days, especially in disadvantaged communities.
  • Make use of WhatsApp groups and social media to advertise learnership opportunities.
  • Interact with current learners to promote service offerings.
  • Liaise with Doctors/ Clinics/ Hospitals for direct referrals.
  • Place marketing material in key public locations.
  • Partner with community leaders, churches, and organizations to distribute materials.
  • Build ongoing relationships with youth-focused organizations and associations.
  • Schedule and communicate assessment days to potential candidates.
  • Ensure candidates have all required documentation before applying.
  • Advise learners on proper application procedures and timelines.

Interviews & Screening
  • Conduct daily interviews with new applicants.
  • Record all interviews conducted each day on SharePoint, including outcomes (passed/failed).
  • Assign tracking numbers to applicants who pass both the interview and assessment stages.
  • Capture and update all demographics for successful applicants.
  • Vet all learner documents for authenticity and completeness.
  • Mark assessment tests accurately and timely.
A
Project Preparation
  • Validate learners for new or upcoming projects.
  • Contact and invite validated learners for induction sessions.
  • Allocate learners to relevant projects in accordance with specific client requirements.
A
Administration Duties
  • Provide weekly updates and statistics on learners sourced and from which areas.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Sourcing Coordinator to match candidates to upcoming projects.
  • Participate in weekly sourcing team meetings to review progress and project readiness.
  • Offer real-time updates on demographics still required.
  • Support all onboarding administration tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records across systems, especially SharePoint.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to manage learner sourcing communications on official social platforms.
