Job Description
Our client, a well-established and progressive FMCG manufacturing company based in Paarl, seeks to employ a Technology and Financial Systems Specialist to join their progressive and expanding professional finance and IT team.
Please note that this is a senior role, requiring a BComm degree and experience in database administration specifically in a financial department. Your background will either be in the manufacturing sector or from an audit environment, working with manufacturing clients and ERP super user status.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You will have a tertiary qualification in BComm Degree (IT, Accounting, or related field), as well as 5+ years as a Database Administrator with IT and finance experience and managing projects to a successful end result.
- You will have experience in oversee IT infrastructure, database administration (SQL Server), and cybersecurity, as well as manage outsourced IT consultants and IT budgeting.
- You will have proven experience in maintaining financial records, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting, as well as handle tax/VAT filings, compliance, and assist with budgeting.
- In addition, your career will display experience in supporting company fleet management, insurance claims, and contract analysis.
- You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
